IOSH Managing Safely Re-certification |
For delegates who completed IOSH Managing Safely more than three years ago. The aim of the re-certification course is to update delegates on key health and safety issues and best practice.
Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course delegates will have an overview of:
- A safety management system linking the role of risk assessment
- Reactive monitoring: investigations of non-compliance with safety standards, types of human failures and reduction of incidences
- Principles of all aspects of risk assessment and risk control
- Health and safety legislation: identify recent legislation and it relevance to their responsibilities
- Common hazards: minimising risks from a range of hazards by applying general principles, stress at work, lone working, violence at work
- General principles of active monitoring: preparation, implementation and analysis
- Safety management systems: measure and influence safety culture
