This course is for Managers / Supervisors who are responsible for inspecting scaffolds.
Aims and Objectives
To ensure that delegates understand their responsibilities in accordance with statutory regulations, be able to make a competent inspection and complete inspection reports.
The course programme covers the following subjects:
- Health and Safety legislation
- Basic principles / types of scaffold
- Recognition of components and their applications
- Inspection sequence
- Recording Inspections
The course includes various activities and exercises and an end of course test paper.
A site visit will be undertaken as part of the group exercise. Delegates are requested to provide hard hat, high visibility jacket and safety boots.
