New Format for the IOSH Managing Safely Course

Following discussions with many companies we are finding that a four day block release course can be difficult for employers in relation to staff release.

Because of this we have decided to run our  IOSH Managing Safely courses on a split basis over two weeks, thereby minimising the impact of staff release for training purposes.

The upcoming course dates are:

18, 19 and 26, 27 October 2006

6, 7 and 14, 15 December 2006

5, 6 and 12, 13 February 2007

16, 17 and 23, 24 April 2007

New Courses

We have recently introduced a CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher which is specifically designed to help SMSTS certificate holders stay up to date with their knowledge. We aim to improve awareness of recent developments in construction legislation and health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. Also, to help Site Managers face the responsibilities imposed on them by new legislation and working practices.

The upcoming course dates are:

31 January & 1 February 2007

We have also introduced an IOSH Managing Safely Refresher which is specifically aimed at delegates who completed IOSH Managing Safely more than three years ago and want to remain accredited by IOSH.  The aim of the re-certification course is to update delegates on key health and safety issues and best practice without them having to re-sit the full course.

The upcoming course dates are:

20 November 2006

29 January 2007

Health and Safety Awareness Training for Engineering Operatives

This is a one day course that has been recognised by HVCA as satisfying the requirements of SKILLcard.

Engineering Services SKILLcard is affiliated to the pan-industry Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). The terms of affiliation ensure that Engineering Services SKILLcard complies with the requirements and standards of CSCS. There is no need, therefore, for separate registration with CSCS.
